«La caza de brujas sigue siendo un proceso clave para comprender el capitalismo hoy»
Abstract
Durante su visita en abril de 2015 a la Argentina, invitada por la Cátedra Libre Virginia Bolten de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, la historiadora y activista italiana Silvia Federici dedicó gran parte de su tiempo a realizar una recorrida incansable por experiencias de lucha y espacios de organizaciones populares y feministas que la convocaron a conocer tomas de tierras, comedores populares, radios comunitarias, centros culturales y cooperativas. Es que, en los últimos años, desde el movimiento de mujeres latinoamericano surgió una lectura ávida de Calibán y la Bruja, entre otros trabajos de Federici, como insumos claves para volver a definir el sistema capitalista patriarcal, la noción de trabajo reproductivo y la dominación sobre las mujeres como proceso histórico y vigente.
